Family Photo Session :: Rolling Hills Estates Family Photographer

I receive many inquiries about how to dress for sessions, whether people should wear matching shirts (the answer is "No") or colors, etc.  This is a prime example of a Mommy who nailed it.  It's not about being "matchy-matchy" but coordinating and knowing what colors and styles compliment each other.  She also downplayed her and her husband's wardrobe with more muted colors but they still went so well with the kids.  This doesn't mean you have to go out and buy new threads for your session.  Open up that closet, lay it all out together and see what works.  I say "way to go!" for this one.  And here's the proof.  Would love to hear your comments on it.

Grandmas go gaga over little girls.  And why not?  Check out Miss Snow White in all her glory.

 It's hard being a Diva!

Beach Yoga :: Child Photo Session :: Manhattan Beach Child Photographer

I love that kids these days know and practice yoga. This was her oh-so-fabulous tree pose.

Maternity Photo Session :: Manhattan Beach Family Photographer

What do you get when you mix a beautiful pregnant woman with the sunset?  A glowing mama-to-be.  Stunning!

Family Session :: Malaga Cove :: Palos Verdes Estates Family Photographer

I have had the pleasure of watching this family grow year after year.  What beautiful kids, right?

Mom and Dad even thought of using this outtake in the middle of a tantrum for the back of their holiday card.  Original and hysterical.

Baby D :: Nine Months :: Redondo Beach Child Photographer

Sweet little D.  She is a ham and a half.  Loves love loves the camera.  Can you tell?

Some girls just know how to make their presence known. :-)

Shiny Red Truck :: Family Photo Session :: Rolling Hills Estates Family Photographer

When my good friend asked if we could do their photo session this year with a vintage Chevy truck, I jumped off my seat a little.  Not that they needed any help looking good.  Her family is beautiful, her kids are gorgeous happy little beings...but the truck was was super cool, freshly painted and really added a pop of color to the session. Check it out...

Seriously?  The cuteness is killing me.
